Coffea Arabica is a series of booklets revolving around the world of coffee and coffeemaking. By emulating a midcentury modern design, the viewer is reminded of a time during the post-war period in which leisure was highly popular.
Third spaces were incredibly important during the mid-20th century, which led to the playful yet serious take on coffee. Each booklet focuses on a different aspect of coffee and the typographical grid – book one is a single-column grid focused on the coffee bean, book two is a multi-column grid focused on coffee making, and book three is a deconstructed grid focused on the environmental impact of coffee.
